In May 2024, AccelWater partner ProdAl Scarl published an important scientific paper titled “Enhancing Cutin Extraction Efficiency from Industrially Derived Tomato Processing Residues by High-Pressure Homogenization” as part of the AccelWater project.
The study focuses on advancing sustainable methods for cutin extraction from industrial tomato processing residues. By optimizing extraction conditions and utilizing high-pressure homogenization, the research achieves higher yields while minimizing chemical usage, supporting environmentally friendly practices.
