On April 8 and 9, 2024, representatives from AGENSO and NTUA visited the Industrial Area of Patras, specifically the two industries involved in the Industrial Symbiosis Demonstrator: Athenian Brewery and FrieslandCampina Hellas.
During their visit, they toured the facilities of both industries, inspecting the installations of UF & UV membranes, assessing the performance and functionality of the installed sensors, and reviewing the field selected as an agroforestry site for irrigation with the use of treated wastewater from Athenian Brewery.
Additionally, WATERA provided a training session on the latest updates to the pilot system. Sampling sessions were conducted both in the field and at the Athenian Brewery pilot site
