There was an oral presentation of AccelWater at an online agri-food sector cluster conference, titled “Carbon and water footprint reduction in the agri-food sector”. The conference took place online on July 7th and 8th 2021.
The conference was organized by Agroalim (the agri-food cluster of Nuevo Leon, Mexico) and INNOVACC (pig meat processing cluster, Spain). The goal was to disseminate some related projects on improving the sustainability of this sector using LCA analysis and ecolabeling, water reuse, and waste valorization.
Thus, AccelWater was presented by the Catalan partners (Mrs. Mejias from BETA Tech. Center and Mr. Masferrer from Mafrica), explaining the objectives of the project, the expected impacts, the consortium, the proposed technological scheme, and the interest of Mafrica in the pilot implementation and its benefits.
